Retail Area Manager (Shrewsbury and South West Shropshire)

Severn Hospice is one of the region’s leading and much-loved charities, caring for people living with incurable illness across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales.

We are looking for a Retail Area Manager to oversee our growing number of stores in Shrewsbury and the surrounding area.

Our shops are at the heart of our local community generating over £4 million of income and this is an excellent opportunity to join a high performing, award-winning team that cares.

You will be an experienced retailer who is inspired and motivated to know that you will be leading a team to maximise financial performance for the benefit of local families.

As a Retail Area Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering our ambitious retail strategy by empowering, supporting and developing your teams of staff and volunteers to perform at their best and for long term success.

This is a key operational role and as a well-organised, positive, commercially focussed and target driven individual with great people skills you’ll be responsible for sales growth, stock generation, merchandising, creating great supporter and customer experiences and health and safety across multiple stores.

You’ll also have an eye to the future and will help identify and support new initiatives to grow the wider retail operation so it can continue to support the care we offer local people.
