You will be joining a well-respected design and build contractor operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, delivering projects valued up to £1.5m directly for high-profile water providers. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development, and as part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Project Manager to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Shrewsbury office with occasional site visits as and when required.

Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring non-infrastructure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget. Your role will include:

  • Leading the planning, coordination and execution of non-infrastructure projects
  • Managing client relationships and providing technical guidance where required
  • Overseeing project finances, procurement and resource planning
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and industry regulations
  • Working closely with engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to achieve project milestones
  • Preparing progress reports, documentation and project schedules
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks to maintain high levels of service delivery.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will bring:

  • Proven project management experience within the water industry
  • Excellent organisational and project delivery skills
  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing abilities
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and lead from the front
  • Solid financial awareness and experience managing project budgets
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as and when required.
