Job Information

You will be responsible for sourcing and matching suitable fostering families, provide administrative assistance to the Registered Manager in the assessment of prospective foster carers and complete ad hoc administrative duties to support the team.

Duties

- Sourcing and matching suitable fostering families for all looked-after children and young people who need good quality foster carers.

- Ensuring all relevant agreements and legal contracts are obtained, completed, and recorded.

- Sharing contractual fees for each fostering placement.

- Reading referrals and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, for example Local Authority Social Workers and other Social Worker colleagues.

- Maintain the company’s operational operating system and monitor and adhere to the company’s security and confidentiality policies.

- Undertake general administration duties to assist the assessment of new foster carers, for example administer the relevant references and background checks.

- Undertake a range of comprehensive administrative duties and provide support to the Office Administrator and other New Chapters staff and carers.

- Provide accurate minute taking.

- Support and assist with the preparation for training, carer forums and events.

- To be an office-based point of contact for Local Authorities.

Requirements

- Experience working in administration

- Good IT skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

- Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures
