Job Information
VAL's Community is an inclusive, supportive and rewarding organisation providing therapeutic care and education for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), trauma-related needs, and complex social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Our HEART values underpin both what we believe and how we behave, creating a pathway for children and young people to thrive:
- Holistic Support – We take a whole-child approach, ensuring each child's care, education and emotional wellbeing work together to provide consistent, coordinated support.
- Empathy – We take time to understand each child's experiences, behaviours and emotions, responding with patience, compassion and trauma-informed practice.
- Ambition – We encourage every child to build confidence, develop resilience and achieve their personal goals, celebrating every success along the way.
- Respect – We value every child as an individual, promoting positive relationships where they feel safe, heard, respected and empowered.
- Thriving – We create nurturing environments where children can recover from trauma, develop healthy relationships, gain independence and build a positive future.
