Job Information
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a dynamic and expanding Building Consultancy team in Shrewsbury. This position will involve working within an established team, focusing on various aspects of project and professional building surveying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-acquisition building surveys
- Prepare and negotiate schedules of dilapidations
- Create schedules of works and project manage
- Assess rebuild costs for insurance
- Develop planned maintenance programs and handle party wall awards
- Manage client relationships and provide fee quotes
- Coordinate appointments and manage deadlines independently
Essential Criteria:
The ideal candidate should have experience in some (but not necessarily all) of the following areas:
- Commercial property building surveying
- Residential surveys (desirable)
- CDM regulations
Qualifications:
Candidates should ideally be RICS Registered Building Surveyors with relevant post-qualification experience.
