Job Information

Camlins is growing and we’re looking to recruit BIM Technician to join our team based in Shrewsbury.

You’ll work on high-quality, design-led projects that shape places, support communities and respond to climate, biodiversity and environmental challenges, all within a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio environment.

The role will involve:
- Developing thoughtful, context-driven landscape design models
- Work with the team to do various studies within the BIM Design Model
- Contributing to planning applications and detailed design packages
- Producing BIM Models, libraries, drawings, technical information such as COBie, clash reports and visual material
- Working collaboratively with our BIM Lead and across disciplines and offices
- Supporting site delivery and project coordination
- Bringing ideas around construction technology and AI.
- Working with in the current office systems for continuity across the office and outlining ways that we can improve.

We’re keen to hear from candidates who:
- Hold a degree or HND/C in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
- Attention to detail, flare for design and creativity, to bring innovative points of view to the team and our clients.
- Are working towards (or hold) professional accreditation
- Have strong design, graphic and technical skills
- Experience in Vectorworks and/or Revit (preferable) but other software including AutoCAD, Sketchup would be considered.
- Enjoy collaborative working and hybrid studio setups
- Previous industry experience with standard file sharing sites such as ACC, Aconex, etc
