Account Manager (Digital Agency)

We’re looking for an organised, motivated and passionate Account Manager to join our growing team.

You’ll be responsible for managing new and on-going accounts, with a focus on ecommerce projects. We work with large multi-national corporations, and also local SME's - no two days or projects are the same!

You’ll manage workloads, prioritising and delivering projects within agreed deadlines, along with providing clients with strategic support and ensuring that project objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership and responsibility of your clients’ projects and tasks, ensuring they are completed on time, on brief and on budget
  • Develop strong and lasting relationships with your clients, keeping them happy, while managing expectations effectively
  • Understanding your clients businesses inside and out, becoming a trusted adviser to them
  • Leading client review meetings and encouraging account growth
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, enabling you to suggest new ideas to your clients for their website and marketing, keeping them ahead of the competition
  • Proposal writing and project planning
  • Briefing and managing projects across different departments to ensure successful delivery of objectives
  • Assist with CMS admin tasks that don’t require advanced technical skills (Magento, Shopify, WordPress – training provided).
  • Perform QA testing on client websites, identifying and reporting bugs.
  • Review and report against account profitability with ideas for improvement
  • Support the new business team in pitches, tenders and proposals
  • Keep client documentation up to date to support future development and technical troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

  • Experience of delivering digital projects, ideally with some ecommerce experience
  • Excellent project management and planning skills, with experience of using task management systems like Clickup, Jira, Trello etc
  • High levels of organisation with an excellent eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritise and deliver calmly under pressure
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • Track record of client relationship development
  • Ability to identify, analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of marketing, especially digital
  • Good understanding of branding, design, web development and marketing processes
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Email marketing and social media marketing
  • Able to demonstrate tact, diplomacy and discretion in relation to interacting with people at all levels
