Young Enterprise: Record Your First Podcast Episode with Painted Life

Ever wondered what it actually takes to make a podcast? This session gives you the chance to find out — by recording one yourself.

Over three hours, you'll plan your concept, record your first episode, and leave with a finished piece of audio ready to share. Painted Life's Aaron will guide you through the whole process, from working out your format to hitting record, with professional equipment set up and ready to go. There's time at the end to listen back as a group and get feedback.

No experience needed. Just turn up ready to have a go.

What you'll leave with: a recorded podcast episode, a cover image for Spotify, and an optional written bio ready to upload.

This session is part of Young Enterprise Shrewsbury, funded by the Million Hours programme. Open to 15 to 18 year olds only. Five places available.

Aaron runs Painted Life, a Shrewsbury-based filmmaking and creative services studio. He works with individuals, community groups and organisations to help them tell their stories on screen and on air. He's been running creative workshops in the area for some time and brings a practical, low-pressure approach to sessions — the kind where you're making something real from the start, not just watching someone else do it.
