The Shrewsbury Coffeehouse
Opened in 2011, The Shrewsbury Coffeehouse is the town's original independent coffee shop. Expect speciality coffee, local bakes, and meal options including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options to suit everyone. Bonus: a great playlist and a vibrant atmosphere. Find it on Castle Gates.
Hopefully Coffee
What started out as a small screen printing business expanded to become a popular coffee shop that provides a space for creative work, conversation, good food and great coffee! Daily Brews
Daily Brews is passionate about speciality coffee and wants to bring it to the masses, delivering specialist brews with care and passion on a daily basis on Shrewsbury's Town Square. The staff here are proud to use only fresh ingredients from local producers. Stop by for good coffee, a healthy all-day breakfast and brunch options, and a variety of cakes.
Outset Coffee
The newest addition to Shrewsbury's thriving coffee scene, Outset offers delicious and healthy food, specialty coffee and seasonal menus. Attached to Dutch Living interiors, expect to wile away an hour or two in spacious, airy comfort, watching the people pass by on Castle Street outside.
The Condor
The Condor specialises in single-origin coffee from high-quality global roasteries. This relaxed, uber cool community coffee shop at the bottom of Wyle Cop has become a go-to for Shrewsbury workers and residents alike.
Stop. Coffee Shop
A firm fave among locals, in close proximity to the river and the Quarry Park, Stop offers an oasis just off busy Wyle Cop to enjoy a break. Choose from award-winning coffee and a large range of speciality teas, and browse the finest and widest selection of homemade cakes in Shrewsbury, all made on-site by baker Richy Wedge.

Caffé Mondi

The Loft Coffee House & Cakery

Taste of Shrewsbury
Taste of Shrewsbury is a small family business offering both takeaway and eat-in facilities, including a gallery tea room that seats thirty-two people. The standard menu offers coffees, sandwiches, baguettes, paninis, homemade soups, and jacket potatoes. Check out the alternating seasonal specials menu and afternoon tea menu with locally renowned cream teas.
Paws Cafe
What's cozier than coffee with cats? If you're in the mood for something a little different, visit Paws Cafe, Shropshire's first cat cafe. At Paws, you pay for your time – not your drinks. During your visit, choose from a full barista menu including quality coffee and a range of teas, and enjoy the company of the cafe's 11 resident cats; Nala, Simba, Elsa, Snowy, Marmalade, Binx, Lady Grey, Mocha, Cappucino, Darwin, and new addition Mabel.
