Shrewsbury named in UK's top festive towns

As the season of tinsel and turkey approaches, many of us will already have started booking tickets for our favourite festive events including carol concerts, pantomimes and visits to old Saint Nick himself, and it seems some places really go all out when it comes to celebrating Christmas.

Topping the places which go all out on the mince pies and mistletoe is Crewe, followed by York, Falkirk, Cardiff and others.
